We typically setup a video call or in person meet, to discuss the machine that needs restoring and to get an understanding of what you are looking to achieve.
Some of the questions we try to get answers for are:
What are you looking to achieve ? is it a full restoration or just getting it repaired and going again...
How old is the machine ? What is the state of the machine? When did it last work ? How has the machine been stored ?What are the specifications of th machine ?What operating systems did it have on it ? Any current data on the machine we need to be aware about ?
Once we have had an initial consultation we can then provide a quote and if accepted book the machine in to the workshop.
We typically provide 3 quotes which are:
"Get-you-going"
"Mid-range"
"Full-restore"
This gives you the full picture and complete control over the spending in turn the expected results of the restoration.
Irrespective of which restoration is picked, you will get a video and photos pre and post restoration, all videos will be put on YouTube so you can refer back to them later.
Working to the customers agreed specifications and time frame, we get to work. this depends on each customer, some will just need a "get-me-going" others will want a full restoration.... it all depends on what the machine needs, the work required and level of detail. Restorations can take from a few hours for a patch-up to 21 days for a full restoration....
After many quality assurance checks, the machine is returned to you for signoff - we ask you inspect the machine - test it based on the statement of works - once you are happy all we ask is you do a review of the machine.
Each restoration comes with a full 12 months hardware warranty, all machines also come with a 30 days software coverage too, we are always here to help if issues arise though, just a call away, please reach out to us. - We are here to help and nothing pleases us more than happy customers.
