Formed in 2021 in London - having spent 25 years working on old DOS and early windows PCs , Mad Robot Restorations prides itself on saving classic machines from going to landfill and giving the customer the complete restoration experience, each restoration comes with pre and post photos and a full video of the restoration.

1990s Desktop

Custom ICL Machine - Mr Brown's Restoration

"Having formed so many old fond memories on this machine, it was a shame to see it finally give up, not wanting to put it in landfill i reached out to MRR and they provided me with a comprehensive quote, realistic timeline and i have to say that i cannot be happier with the outcome of my restoration, its just amazing - thank you.”

We took Mr Browns dead old machine and completely rejuvenated it, giving it a full retrobrite service , cleaning the the motherboard with Isopropyl and giving the case a respray, it was as close as he could get to having a factory fresh machine.

This stunning looking machine on the right was Mr Green's workstation after we put in 30 hours of restoration, the face was soaked with retrobright for several days, the chassis was resprayed and the internals were cleaned and restored to perfect working order, the power supply was completely stripped down and rebuilt, all PCB's were soaked and cleaned, it came back to life and the he is super hapy with the outcome.
